Residential Duct Cleaning Services
High Powered Vacuum Trucks
Our vacuum is powered off of our truck engine. Our trucks are custom built for us and are the most powerful in the industry.
Infrared Video Inspection
Our Advanced Air Quality vehicles are all equipped with infrared cameras and video monitors. We can show an accurate "before" and "after" of every job that we are on.
Direct Contact Cleaning Devices
At Advanced Air Quality, we use a direct contact cleaning process. This is the most thorough cleaning process available. We don't believe in only using air pressure or suction to eliminate all of the dust and debris in the system. Every inch of your ductwork is cleaned using these devices. The cleaning steps are listed below. Click any step for the full description.
Step #1 - Furnace Fan Removed
We start by running the furnace to make sure that everything is operating correctly. We then remove the furnace fan for cleaning at the end of the job.
Step #2 - Vacuum Truck Setup
Next, we setup our vacuum hose and high pressure air line. The vacuum hose is run into the basement, and the air line is run upstairs to the farthest supply vent.
Step #3 - Main Supply Plug-in
We plug our 8" vacuum hose directly into the main supply ductwork after isolating the supply from the return. This creates a tremendous amount of suction on the entire supply system.
Step #4 - Supply Vents Cleaned
After all of the supply vents are sealed with magnetic covers, we then go to each vent individually to clean them using 250 psi of air pressure.
Step #5 - Main and Secondary Supply Ductwork Cleaned
All main supply ductwork is then cleaned using our direct contact cleaning process. We have several different devices that can be utilized.
Step #6 - Main Return Plug-in
Our suction is then moved onto the cold air return side of the ventilation system. We then go upstairs and clean the return vents.
Step #7 - Main and Secondary Return Ductwork Cleaned
Similar to Step 5, we clean the main and secondary return ductwork using our direct contact cleaning process.
Step #8 - Furnace Fan Cleaned
After all of the ductwork is thoroughly cleaned we then clean the furnace fan, exterior of the heat exchangers and the furnace compartments.
Step #9 - Air Conditioning Coil Cleaned
If your system is equipped with central air conditioning, we clean the A/C coil which is located in the plenum of your furnace, with high pressure air.
Step #10 - Furnace Fan Reinstalled
After the work is completed on the furnace and A/C coil, the furnace fan is then reinstalled. The furnace is then run to ensure proper operation.
